This social media toolkit has been prepared to support health authorities and other organizations to share messages and resources to promote physical activity and physical literacy in their communities.
The posts in the toolkit highlight the Physical Activity Literacy (PAPL) resources, developed by BC’s regional health authorities. These are short handouts that outline the movement guidelines, define physical literacy, explain the benefits of physical activity, and provide ideas for individuals to add physical activity and movement into their daily routines. These handouts are organized by age group (early years, children and youth, adults, and older adults), and can be used by healthcare providers, community groups, schools, and other organizations across BC.
This toolkit has been designed to be flexible to accommodate different posting schedules.
